We will visit the romantic little village of 700 inhabitants, surrounded by wheat fields, recognized by the European Union as the most accessible village in Italy, included in the circuit "The most beautiful villages in Italy".
The journey opens with a relaxing walk in the historic center of Norman origin accompanied by beautiful views, timeless alleys and palaces with artistic portals.We will visit the Norman castle that stands on the highest point of the village and the "MiGra", Interactive Museum of Wheat and Women in the country civilization, an immersive and evocative projection that tells the daily life of Monteverde and its territory, through the different eras.Continuing on, we will discover the Santa Maria Maggiore cathedral, the oldest in the town and the church of Sant'Antonio.
After the walk through the historical center, the trip ends at the "Serrocroce" brewery, a local excellence, where the tasting of products tells the stories of the fields and their keepers.At the end of the journey we suggest the enogastronomic experience "Al giardino di Pagnotta Carlo", a lunch to discover the flavors of the territory, through the typical products and the traditional dishes of Monteverde.
